Details of the Job/Internship
Greenberg Traurig is hiring a Trademark Paralegal with 5–7 years of experience to join their IP-Trademark team in the Atlanta office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage full trademark docket and ensure timely handling of deadlines.
- Conduct trademark searches using TESS, SAEGIS, Corsearch, WIPO.
- Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals, declarations, and responses via USPTO.
- File international trademark applications with WIPO.
- File UDRP complaints and record assignments with USPTO.
- File documents with the TTAB and prepare non-substantive procedural filings.
- Coordinate with foreign law firms on prosecution and enforcement.
- Investigate potential trademark infringements.
- Assist with client reports and development activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years’ trademark paralegal experience in a law firm or 5 years as a trademark professional.
- Proficiency with USPTO TEAS, ESTTA, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Certified Paralegal credential is a plus.
