Biocon Biologics is hiring a Trademark Specialist in Bengaluru with 6-8 years of experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Primary Responsibilities
  • Organization Strategy & Performance: Organization Operating Model & Internal Processes/Systems.
  • Pharma & Biologics/Biopharma sector awareness: Competitive Awareness
  • Patent research Methodology: IPR Tools/Software Expertise
  • Project Planning: Delivery Excellence
  • Insightful Reporting: Data Management
• Secondary Responsibilities
  • Global Trademark Portfolio management and handling Trademark litigations and oppositions in coordination with external counsels.
  • Demonstrated track record of handling Trademark Portfolio, oppositions and litigations in the pharmaceutical/medical device industry is required
  • Manage Global Trademark Portfolio for Biocon group companies for India, US, EU and ROW countries.
  • Manage the Trademark litigations and oppositions in coordination with external counsels
  • Handle Trademark assignment activity globally
  • Review of Trademark agreements and IPR clauses
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams for trademark related activities
  • Mentor junior team members.

Eligibility

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Life Sciences, LLB/LLM with Trademark Law specialization from a reputed institute. Registered trademark agent.
• 6-8 years.
