Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Trainee Associate – Legal Drafting with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft replies, rejoinders, affidavits, written submissions, applications, and petitions.
- Conduct legal research and analyse precedents relevant to assigned matters.
- Review case files, documents, and records for accurate drafting.
- Coordinate with senior lawyers and clients to finalise documents.
- Prepare briefs, notes, and compilations for hearings.
- Ensure timely completion of drafting tasks and maintain case documentation.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 0–1 year of experience in litigation or arbitration drafting.
- Strong command over legal drafting, particularly replies and rejoinders.
- Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Code, Arbitration Act, and commercial laws.
- Excellent legal research and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
