KYROTICS is looking for a Trainee Legal Associate in the Greater Kolkata Area. Candidates must be proficient in Bengali & English.

Role and Responsibilities

• Proofread translated documents from English to Bengali to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in language, grammar, and style.
• Verify the legal accuracy of translated content, ensuring adherence to legal terminology, concepts, and principles.
• Identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies in the translated text, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with translators and legal experts to resolve queries or concerns regarding translation and legal terminology.
• Conduct research on legal terminology and concepts as needed to ensure accurate translation and interpretation.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to translators and other team members to enhance the quality of translations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive legal documents and information.

Eligibility

• Final year/Passout BA LLB, LLB(Hons), LLM student.
• Must have proficiency in Bengali and English languages, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have your own laptop or desktop
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, concepts, and principles, with the ability to translate legal documents accurately.
• Proficiency in using computer software and tools for document editing and proofreading.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
