Details of the Moot Court Competition

They are extremely delighted to invite you to the 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2025 hosted by T.S. Misra Law School, T.S. Mishra University, Lucknow in the memory of the Late Hon’ble Mr. Justice Tribeni Sahai Misra. This prestigious event aims to provide a platform for budding lawyers to showcase their advocacy skills, legal knowledge, and critical thinking.

Eligibility

• All teams shall consist of a maximum of 3 participants [two members designated as ‘Speaker’ and one member designated as ‘Researcher’] OR 2 participants [both speakers],
• Students pursuing the Three- or Five-Year courses of the LL.B. Degree or its equivalent from any recognized Law School/College/University are eligible to participate.
• Any recognized Law School/College/University shall be entitled to send a maximum 2 (two) teams to the Competition.
• The Participating team shall comprise a minimum of two and a maximum of three members. In a team of two members, both members shall be designated as Speakers. In a team of three members, two members shall be designated as Speakers, and the third member of the team shall be designated as a Researcher.
• No Additional member or team coach is allowed to accompany the team.
• There will be team cap of 30 teams.

Awards

• A Total of 20,000 Rupees will be the prize money for several awards including the Winning Team Award, Runners-Up Award, Best Mooter, Best Memorial, Best Researcher along with Trophies, Medals and Certificate of Merit as well as Participation.
• Certificates of Participation shall be given to all the participants registering and participating from Prelims onwards.

Registration Fees (if any)

Each team shall submit the registration fee of Rupees: INR 1500 through Online Mode- Paytm /Google Pay/Phonepe with the Registration Link given in the mail.

• Last Date of Registration and Online Payment: 02nd March, 2025.
• Last Date to Seek Clarification: 03rd March, 2025.
• Release of Clarification: 04th March, 2025.
• Last Date to submit soft copies of Memorials: 05th March, 2025.
• Inaugural Ceremony: 07th March, 2025.
• Prelims and Quarter Finals: 07th March, 2025.
• Semi-Finals and Finals: 08th March, 2025.
• Valedictory Ceremony: 09th March, 2025.
