Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority is hiring a UAE national manager of dispute management to join their office in Dubai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Collection Team to mediate and resolve conflicts.
- Implement strategies to handle disputes efficiently, minimizing legal actions and maintaining good relationships.
- Identify and manage cases of non-responsive, defaulting customers including late payments and dishonored cheques.
- Develop and execute action plans to address defaults, such as payment plans or legal proceedings.
- Manage customer suspension in instances of default.
- In coordination with Organizational Units collect and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all required documentation.
- Submitting and following up cases to the Rental Dispute Center (RDC) &/or the Legal Affairs Department (LAD).
- Liaise with the Legal Office and other concerned Organizational Units for any escalation and/or in the event of arbitration and litigation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant Organizational Units to implement necessary actions following a court order or judgment (e.g. unlocking premises, disposing of assets, auctioning equipment, writing off, etc.).
- Handle all internal and external communications with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the team and oversee daily operations,
- Ensure proper maintenance of records and reporting to the management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in dispute resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving to address disputes and develop solutions.
- Negotiations skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Decision-making.
