Ryan Specialty is hiring a UK Legal Counsel with experience of 5 years to join their office in London.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice to internal teams, including HR, finance, and operations, on various legal matters.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including negotiations, settlements, and litigation.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Assist in managing legal risks related to business operations and strategic initiatives.
Eligibility
- Law degree with 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or a PhD without work experience; or equivalent work experience.
- License to practice law in at least one state. Licenses & Certifications:
- Certified Legal Professional (CLP) or Continuing Legal Education (CLE) is preferred Technical/Functional Skills:
