Details of the Job/Internship
Bajaj Finserv is hiring a Unit Manager – Legal / Senior Unit Manager – Legal with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in the BFSI and payments sector to join their Pune office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, structure, and negotiate product-specific agreements for digital payment platforms, UPI frameworks, BBPS, TPAP, and retail lending products.
- Review customer journeys and documentation for both digital and physical channels.
- Develop and maintain standard agreements and product documentation.
- Identify legal risks in new product development.
- Advise on legal issues related to prepaid instruments, UPI, BBPS, merchant acquiring (EDC, Soundbox, QR), payment gateway, consumer banking, and data privacy.
Eligibility
- LLB degree.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in BFSI and payments sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws including IT Act & Rules, Aadhaar Act, PSS Act, Data Privacy regulations, IBC Code, and Information Utility regulations.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently assess legal requirements and negotiate documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
