Details of the Job/Internship

UnitedLex is hiring a Manager – Trademark with experience of 8+ years to join their office in Gurgaon or Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft trademark applications and office action responses specifically for filing in the US jurisdiction.
• Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches, including identical, phonetic, and common law searches.
• Manage global trademark portfolios and coordinate with international law firms for filing and opposition activities.
• Oversee all paralegal and docketing activities across the trademark lifecycle to ensure accuracy.
• Review the work products of junior team members to maintain strict quality control standards.
• Mentor and train team members on various trademark services and jurisdictional requirements.
• Support senior leadership in day-to-day strategic activities and portfolio management.
• Drive efficiencies by providing strategic legal guidance and business solutions in ambiguous situations.

Eligibility

• Graduate in any discipline (LL.B. Hons. from a reputed law school is a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in trademark paralegal and docketing services.
• Deep experience in trademark application filing, prosecution, and international oppositions.
• Excellent understanding of US Trademark laws (Experience in EP and India is a plus).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Preferred: Registered Trademark Agent status.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a remote or virtual team setup.
