Details of the Job/Internship
Colombo & Hurd is hiring for the position of US Immigration Law Firm Legal Writer with 2 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to strategize case development.
- Research and analyze complex scientific, academic, and professional content to draft persuasive legal memoranda.
- Translate complex information into compelling, accessible language for EB-1a and EB-2 NIW cases.
- Assist in drafting legal arguments for self-petitioning professionals seeking US permanent residency based on extraordinary abilities or endeavors of substantial merit and national importance.
- Adhere to deadlines while maintaining high-quality, detail-oriented work.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on writing or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience writing professionally in English is strongly preferred.
- Strong research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple.
Salary/Stipend
