Details of the Job/Internship
M&G Global Services Private Limited is hiring a Vice President – Legal with a minimum of 15 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact for all legal matters related to M&G Global Services.
- Collaborate with divisional managers and legal advisors to execute contracts.
- Draft, vet, and finalize legal contracts.
- Negotiate contractual terms within organizational guidelines.
- Handle litigation and participate in investigations, escalating issues as needed.
- Establish processes and controls to ensure compliance with global legal policies.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external legal professionals.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the legal team effectively.
- Align team efforts with global projects and organizational strategy.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with at least 15 years of professional experience in legal roles within the banking and financial services sector.
- Experience working in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) is an advantage.
