Infomatic Solutions is hiring a Virtual Legal Assistant with 2+ years of experience in US Family Law for a permanent work-from-home position. The role operates during the US night shift (Monday to Friday, 8:30 pm to 5:30 am IST).
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to lawyers.
- Handle communication with clients and opposing counsel via phone/email.
- Set up shells and templates for pleadings, discovery, and letters.
- Download and save pleadings/discovery.
- Input and track expenses.
- Prepare Family Law discovery documents and forms (interrogatories, subpoenas, verification forms, etc.).
- E-file documents using Orange County Superior Court’s systems (OneLegal or Odyssey).
- Prepare standard California family law Judicial Council forms (e.g., FL-100, FL-120, FL-150, FL-300).
Eligibility
- Qualification: LL.B, LL.M, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in US Family Law.
- Willingness to work US night shift.
- Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Must have a laptop and reliable internet connectivity.
