Details of the Job/Internship

Amplus Solar is inviting Law Students for Internship in their Gurugram office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• A strong understanding of both legal and commercial aspects of contracting.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and the evaluation of power off-take arrangements, particularly for Open Access projects.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, including carbon market products, and the ability to focus on intricate details.

Eligibility

• Drafting and reviewing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Share Purchase Agreements, Lease Agreements, and Contracts for Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon credits, and offset mechanisms.
• Preparing and presenting summaries of regulations, orders, and amendments issued by relevant government authorities and instrumentalities.
• Preparation and regular updates of landed renewable tariff calculations, used to evaluate the commercial feasibility and associated risks of projects.
• Coordination with various business verticals such as Legal, Tax, Business Development, and Regulatory teams to seek and provide necessary inputs.
• Proactive contract management, identifying potential contractual issues and risks, and suggesting appropriate mitigation strategies.
