Bihar Human Rights Commission was established on 3 January 2000 by Notification No. 207. The Commission became functional by notification No. 6896 on 25 January 2008 with the appointment of its first chairperson, Justice S. N. Jha, former Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan High Court, along with Justice Rajendra Prasad, a former Judge of the Patna High Court and R. R. Prasad, a former Director General of Police, Bihar as supporting members of the commission.
Details of the Job/Internship
Bihar Human Rights Commission is organizing a 4-week Winter Internship Programme for undergraduate law students.
- Duration: 23.12.2025 to 20.01.2026.
Essential Conditions for Internship
- Applications received after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
- Candidates who do not report for the internship on 23.12.2025 will have their applications canceled.
- Students applying via email must present all original documents on the first day of the internship (23.12.2025) at the Commission office; otherwise, their application will be rejected.
- 100% attendance during the internship is mandatory. Absence for more than one day must be supported by a valid medical certificate.
- If a student attends less than 15 working days, a certificate will not be issued.
- The Commission reserves the right to cancel any application at any time.
Eligibility
Final year law students will be given preference.
