Hi,
In 2023, AI tools were terrible for legal research on a specific topic, they hallucinated and often gave the wrong research.

Enhancing Your Practice with Effective Legal Research
They’re 100x better in 2025.
Let me show you an example.
Just like you can’t rely on Google to share all the results and news on Twitter can be fake, so sometimes you rely on more credible sources, the same way you still need to be abreast with manual research.
Let me show you an example of the Shayara Bano case, where the Supreme Court ruled the practice of Triple Talaq illegal in 2017.
Here is a copy of the judgment — it’s more than 350 pages.
Here is what I obtained with ChatGPT o3.
Here is what I got with Deep Research mode on.
Pretty cool, right? Which one do you like?
Let’s take a look at my prompts here.
Is this substantial?
Here is the actual summary which we teach in our course to prepare lawyers for Supreme Court litigation and cracking Advocate-on-Record.
AI is beating it.
This, of course, is for practice and is more extensive than what is required for your college or judiciary exam or even the Advocate-on-Record exam.
I didn’t even have to upload the judgment — AI scrapes it from the internet.
But showcasing AI’s research capability is not the point.
The point is how you can use it to build your credibility and knowledge on the internet.
Let me show you how a carousel that I made with AI. I further continued my chat conversation.
Here is the carousel copy transcript. You can take the prompts above.

How do you find it?
I can post it on Instagram. I can put some text and post it on LinkedIn, too. I can make a reel out of it.
Let me ask AI itself to do this.
Here is the reel script generated by AI.
Once I had the case summary, making a reel script was very easy.
I used a couple of prompts because the first script was very generic.
You have to break the tasks down and do them step by step for AI to do its work properly.
All I have to do is record it using my phone and post it.
Isn’t it incredible?
You can use tools like Descript or Eleven Labs for editing it like a Word document and adding captions, but it’s not necessary. Social media platforms include auto-captions.
It doesn’t matter if there are spelling mistakes in captions. People understand that you are busy and that they are auto-generated.
But they want value.
What about lighting and effects?
People don’t expect lawyers and professionals to build a movie studio with post-production effects.
Forget lawyers, all AI platforms are now focusing on native content.
Do you know which background has been ideal for traction these days for AI platforms?
Reels shot from cars.
So you don’t have to worry about it.
In fact, do you know which ads worked best for LawSikho bootcamps?
Ads shot in an airport or a hotel with Abhyuday’s phone.
All of this took me just 1 hour to do.
Imagine if you could use AI like this every day for churning out content around the cases and legal issues that you are researching.
How would it be?
And this is just one use case.
Once you build this muscle, you can extend the same AI automation workflow to your everyday tasks:
- Client intake forms
- Case status updates
- Contract review checklists
- Billing reminders
Turning hours of admin work into minutes, so you can focus on what actually matters: winning cases and growing your practice.
Remember that utilising AI in your workflow still takes a bit of work — about 30 minutes to a couple of hours depending on what you are trying to achieve for the first time.
Watch the step-by-step video demonstration here.
Here are the crucial factors that determine the quality of outcomes that you produce with AI:
- Your expertise on the subject
- Your understanding of first principles on a matter
- The quality of your prompts
- Your ability to review work generated by AI
- Even if you do not have a lot of experience, you can always improve the quality by anticipating the problems that may arise and providing correct inputs
This is where your legal acumen still plays a significant role.
This is just the beginning.
One by one, you can introduce more sophistications which take care of your clients’ interests in a superior way.
You can create a client interview checklist so that your chances of error while speaking to clients are minimised.
You can also delegate this task to a junior once your checklist is in place and have the junior perform the work at a similar quality.
There are other incremental innovations too, for example:
- Create an end-to-end training program for juniors who draft specific agreements
- Prepare tests and real assignments to ensure that their conceptual knowledge is sound enough and they can apply it to real documents — assessed in natural language by AI
- Prepare a checklist for them to assess that they are correctly drafted
Do this for your own practice or any senior and they will be incredibly grateful.
You can charge for this as well.
If you are working in a company and you regularly deal with similar contracts, you can create a negotiation playbook for your business teams, so that they have clarity on what negotiated positions they can agree to and what they cannot.
Such incremental improvements stack up over time and enable your services to be superior to others.
How many lawyers do you think build their practice as per these principles?
They just don’t have the bandwidth, or blame it on a lack of juniors.
If you prepare such checklists for your clients for your most important services, you will quickly realise that you provide a high quality of service consistently, even if you have hired first-year juniors.
You can even pay your juniors better than others once you start charging more and use AI for client generation as well.
Hire juniors once you are taking home at least ₹2 lakhs per month. Until then you can prepare these checklists and fill them up yourself or ask your clients to directly fill them up.
You will have more time freed up, which can be utilised to generate more clients as well.
If you are a junior lawyer yourself, earning ₹1–2 lakhs per month is not going to be difficult when you learn these things.
