Details of the Job/Internship
HARMAN Lifestyle is hiring a Director – Legal to provide strategic legal and business support to assigned divisions and strategic business units.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal and commercial support to assigned divisions and SBUs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial, sales, procurement, licensing, and vendor agreements.
- Advise on regulatory, antitrust, compliance, privacy, trade, and data security matters.
- Manage litigation, disputes, external counsel, and legal service providers.
- Support strategic business initiatives through risk assessment and legal planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, engineering, finance, supply chain, HR, IT, and marketing.
- Develop and maintain legal templates, playbooks, and contract training resources.
- Provide financial and business-oriented legal advice to operational leadership.
Eligibility
- Law degree required.
- Experience handling complex commercial agreements and negotiations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English.
